We at the Cot Mattress Company appreciate that you expect your purchase to be delivered as soon as possible; however, part of what makes our products unique is that each is made with care and by hand. This process produces the best products but can also take time. We understand that this wait can, at times, be frustrating, which is why we have endeavoured to provide you with as much product information as possible to ensure that you can make the right decision for your family the first time. Shipping information
We despatch cot mattresses to the UK mainland as they are made due to the handmade nature of the product and can take 3 to 7 days. If your delivery is late or you have any further questions, please contact us either by email at helpline@cotmattresscompany.com or phone us on 01299 823223, and we will get right on it.
Cot, Cot-bed and Most Crib Mattresses.
No matter how large, all these orders are delivered free to the UK through a courier. We box pack our cot mattresses to protect them so that you receive your mattress in excellent condition.
Crib and Moses Basket Mattresses under £35.00
For all these orders, we charge an excess delivery fee of £3.50.
Secure Payments and Spam
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard Maestro processed through Shopify, and we accept PayPal. When you send us your personal information - credit card details, address, phone numbers etc - we encrypt these details to ensure that we protect them from unlawful access. To purchase from us over the Internet you must be over 18 years old. We never ever pass your details on to a third party (other than the information required to notify you by the courier company).
We will never send you any follow-up marketing material by post or email. There is enough spam about - We will never add to it.
Receiving Your Order
When you receive your order, please check it carefully before you sign for it. If the parcel shows signs of damage to the outer carton or packaging, perhaps damp or split or crushed, please sign for it 'received damaged'. If you sign for the parcel as perfect and the outer packaging was ripped and consequently the mattress is damaged, we cannot be held responsible. Signing for it as damaged allows us to claim from the carrier.
Refunds Policy
Our products are the best on the market. However, if you feel they could be more satisfactory or no longer need your order, we are happy to accept returns and provide refunds. Please note that the product must remain in its unopened plastic seal for a successful return. Breaking this seal would make the product unsafe for resale, and therefore, we would be unable to accept a return or process a refund. It is often better to place the mattress into the Crib, Cot or Basket first in the plastic to ensure it is the correct size and fit before removing the plastic seal.
Returning a product is a simple process. The cost of the return will be your responsibility, but it's often more cost-effective for you to send the mattress back by post. Remember, you have 14 days after receiving the goods to take advantage of our distance-selling refund policy.
Faulty Goods
Our cot mattresses carry a 1-year warranty. If you have purchased a product from us and it develops a fault, please contact helpline@cotmattresscompany.com giving us the details of your complaint, date of purchase and order number etc. We will arrange to have the item repaired or replaced if the fault is due to an inherent manufacturing fault. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Your Account
Your account is with 'Cot Mattress Company Limited' and payment on your credit card is made via PayPal or Shopify. Our system will hold details of your sales transactions with us. We do not share these details with anyone. We do not see or ever hold details of your credit cards.
